What is PCD?
Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) is a synthetic diamond product that is produced by sintering together carefully selected diamond particles with a metal matrix.
PCD is exceptionally resistant to wear compared to conventional tungsten carbide tools. In certain applications, PCD tool life can exceed conventional tool life 50 to 100 times. Thermal conductivity is also good.
